Habanabaila Dance Group was established in 1999 with 9 members and since then all the members are diligently teaching salsa to students from all over the world. Rodolfo Salas Fernandes is the Principal of the group. Presently he is in Indonesia, and in his absense Mariela Cuellar Alarcon is leading the group in Havana.

The group conducted shows at different places like Rumba Palaca, Mambo Palaca in Varadero Beach, Mi Conuco Night Club, Comodoro Disco, Sirenita Disco and others in Havana. Each of the dance instructors are qualified dance teachers. for the past 3 years. The styles they teach are salsa (as couple and Rueda de Casino), Son, Cha-Cha-Cha, Mambo, Folklore and Caribean dances.
